- Simple Break Denture Repair :
When your denture breaks from front to back and the break separates the denture into two halves or two pieces. The denture pieces fit easily back together like a puzzle.
- Complex Break Denture Repair:
This kind of repair is a little more complicated where the break may begin at the front but will end on the side of the denture. Sometimes the break makes a Y shaped pattern where there are three pieces. There is a front to back break in addition to a break that ends on the side of the denture.

- Tooth that stands alone :
Once a while there are some dentures where a tooth may not stand next to other teeth. If you have a denture tooth that needs to be repaired please call us to describe the problem in detail as some kinds of repairs may need a dental impression. The dental impression is used as a guideline to make sure the tooth that is repaired won't be higher than the remaining teeth on your denture. If this tooth is higher than the rest of the denture teeth, you will not be able to chew or close your mouth properly.
- Porcelain Denture Tooth/Teeth:
Porcelain denture teeth are ten times more costly than the acrylic denture teeth. Because of this, they are not stocked, as storing them would get quite expensive as many dentures today are made with acrylic denture teeth.
If your denture has a problem with a porcelain denture tooth, please call us before sending your dentures, as the cost may be higher if you prefer to replace your broken porcelain tooth with another porcelain denture tooth. The dentist who inspects arriving dentures has said an acrylic denture tooth can be used as a replacement on the denture. The acrylic tooth will have the same shape, height, and width of the other teeth. The acrylic denture tooth will function just like your other denture teeth
Using dentures made with porcelain denture teeth can wear down your gum tissue and your jawbone faster than acrylic denture teeth. While porcelain denture teeth can last a long time, your gum tissue and jawbone may not. When you chew, the acrylic denture teeth absorb the vibrations caused from chewing. Porcelain denture teeth do not absorb the vibrations as good as the acrylic denture teeth.
- Porcelain Denture Tooth/Teeth:
Porcelain denture teeth are ten times more costly than the acrylic denture teeth. Expect your tooth denture repair to double if you want a porcelain denture tooth as a replacement.
- Loose Acrylic Denture Tooth (You Supply):
This is where the denture tooth fell out of its socket and can fit just like a puzzle back into your denture. Sometimes the denture tooth may break off with some pink denture acrylic. There is a minimal fee to repair the acrylic in addition to the denture tooth.
- Chipped or Cracked Denture Teeth / Tooth (We Supply Tooth):
If your denture tooth has cracked or is chipped it will need to be replaced with a new denture tooth. The lab technician will make sure the denture tooth will match the same height, width, and shade of your existing denture tooth.
- Gum Area is chipped :
If you have the pieces, please provide them with your denture repair. Please call before sending.
- Partial Clasp Repair:
This is the metal wire that extends from your partial denture that hooks onto your existing tooth. It's made of spring metal and overtime does break. It cannot be welded back together because the clasp actually flexes as it hooks onto your existing denture tooth. The metal clasp can be repaired but you will have to provide a dental impression with the partial denture in the dental impression material. Please call for instructions on how to get a dental impression.
- Partial Metal Base Broke:
This is on a case-by-case repair. Please call if your partial dentures broke in this manner.
- Duplicate Denture :
A duplicate denture can only be made from a denture that can be worn. If the denture is broken, it first must be repaired. After the denture is repaired a dentist can make a duplicate denture.
Duplicate dentures are made with experienced dentists. They are truly affordable dentures which can be worn as a spare denture. Duplicate dentures are comfortable and there is no need to schedule a dentist appointment because it is a copy of your existing denture. Everything is copied from the gum area all the way to the teeth. Never intended to be used as a permanent replacement denture. Please see your local dentist for new dentures if you need a replacement.
